Davines History
The Bollati family founded Davines in 1983 in Parma, Italy. It originally began as a research laboratory specializing in the manufacture of quality haircare and skincare products for cosmetic companies. The name "Davines" is a combination of the Bollati children's names, Davide and Stephania.
Personal Experience with Davines
I really love using Davines! I fell like ever since I have started using Davines my hair has really came to life. It has so much more moisture now and it is so soft.I love their styling products more than I have cared for any other brand I've tried. I decided to go with Davines because they are a smaller company that uses such quality ingredients and I feel like the quality I have seen in my hair really makes me see the value in this particular line.

A Statement from Davines on their Philosophy
At Davines, we believe that the balance between beauty and sustainability, what we call "sustainable beauty", can improve our lives and the world around us. By creating "beauty" we want to encourage people to take care of themselves, the environment in which they live and work, what they love. For us, sustainability has to do with the responsibility we feel for ourselves, the people we work with, our customers, the world in which we live and work.
Ingredients
Gluten? A couple of Davines proctucts do contain gluten however NONE of the products I carry or use in salon contain gluten ingredients.
Parabens? No!
Sulfates? No!
Nuts? Yes, some of Davies products do contain nuts please see Davines website for complete list.
Vegan? Most products are vegan! Only a couple products contain keratin and beeswax.
​Natural? Davines products are formulated with ingredients of natural origin, but they are mixed with synthetic ingredients, to guarantee safety and performance.
